Origins : Customer Questions/Comments

IQ subscribers will be familiar with the fact that customers can, and do,  ask questions through the built in chatbox located within their groupM8 event. This is a great place to communicate with your customers as it provides a visible historical dialogue that the customers can reference and saves going over the same ground or asking/answering the same questions again.

What IQ subscribers might not realise is that a large proportion of those customer questions don’t actually originate in the chatbox at all. Every email that IQ sends to your customers has a reference in the subject line. If a customer replies directly to that email (quite often more convenient than logging into the groupM8 event itself) IQ automatically imports the contents of that email in the appropriate manner.

All new customer messages or questions will sport a red flag within the subscriber interface. This signifies, both, that it still requires admin attention and that it will contribute to the dashboard CTA counts. Once you have answered or attended to this question if you click the flag it will turn to green signalling ‘admin aware’. It will no longer contribute to the dashboard counts.

Recognising an Email Imported Questions
If the question has been imported from an email it will also have a green shield underneath the flag. If a customer message is actually a spam message you can click this shield to designate the message as spam. It will then be hidden in all future views of the customer chat.Chat Box Origins

Restricted Packages – advanced

rezBot has always had an incredibly flexible approach to package and session management.
i.e. Packages are restricted to specific sessions which in turn can be restricted to specific days of the week.

This means that most availability scenarios can be managed with relative ease. However, we’ve just added the final piece of the package availability jigsaw.

If you’ve got a special event running on a specific date or a package that is only available during a predetermined period of time. These can now be setup with relative ease

Example
My venue is running a special half price event on Saturday 24th September. How do I set that up?

1) Setup a session with the appropriate timings and availability. Select the available from / to dates. If the session has limited availability set that now.

2) Setup your special offer package. Uncheck the All sessions box and select the special offer session from step one.

Thats it! Customers will only be able to book your half price event for the 24th September. As long as there is still availability!

Guest Payments

One of the most valuable features of a groupM8 event is that it allows individual guests to pay for an event without causing you, the venue operator, a headache of monumental proportions as you try and organise individual receipts whilst keeping the group organiser up to date with who and who hasn’t paid. Simultaneously it solves the group organisers major headache of collecting deposits and balances from an often disparate group of people.

Every groupM8 event comes with built in payment tracking and individual guest payments. All the group organiser needs to do is invite someone as a guest to the event. Alternatively they can just forward the event link email and the prospective guest can use the ‘Add Me’ to simultaneously pay for their spot and add themselves to the guest list.

Easy on you – Easy on the group Organiser!

The group organiser can easily monitor who amongst their group has paid without having to contact you. The ‘Pay for Me’ buttons on the guest list change colour for a quick overview.Guest payment buttons
RED – Guest hasn’t paid anything yet.
ORANGE – Guest has part paid e.g. deposits
GREEN – Guest has paid in full.

If that’s not enough information the mouse can be hovered over the payment button to get an exact breakdown of whats been paid for and by whom. (Yes guests can pay for each other and its all recorded!)Guest Payment Buttons

Instant SMS notifications

We appreciate the problem. You’ve got a paintball site to run, bunkers to maintain and safety nets to fix. You can’t afford to be chained to your pc all day. And whilst IQ notifies you by email of every booking and enquiry as it arrives email communications aren’t, necessarily, the best way to communicate with a busy site operator.

Get notified immediately of any new enquiries or bookings via SMS. All the relevant details are included in the SMS so you can make an assessment as to how quickly you need to check you e-mails and get back to your prospective customer.

All new accounts will be credited with an initial 5 free SMS credits. Further credits are available from 20 cents each.

To activate SMS notifications select the notifier option from the top menu bar.

SMS notify on the menu

And in the resulting popup enter your cell/mobile phone number. (Include your country code please eg. for UK +44).
